Performing Arts

My mother will tell you I’ve been dancing since before I was born. My father would pick me up and waltz with me around the house when I was really little, and when I got older, we have always enjoyed a dance. My mother has a tape of me singing when I was four and seven. I think, thankfully, any of my acting attempts have managed to escape being recorded (or in the one case where it was, the tape melted). I like picking pout tunes on a piano or a recorder.

I guess the short version of this story is that up until the past few years, I’ve always participated in the performing arts. Right now, I’m definitely suffering from withdrawals. I’m hoping by the end of this year to either go into some sort of dancing class or audition for a community choir. I’m even trying to get a hold of a recorder so I can play.

Like so much of my life, my talents in this area are varied, but it’s all so much fun!
