Life’s funny sometimes
I have two friends, both of whom are very dear to me, both of whom claim me.
No, no. Really. They do. As far as both of them are concerned, I’m theirs.
One I’ve known since middle school, and is one of those people that I will always treasure (even if i treat him poorly without remorse). The other I’ve known only a couple of years.
One of my favorite current obsessions is an anime/manga called Fruits Basket, and tonight I compared myself to one of the main characters. The friend I’ve only known a couple of years immediately (who introduced me to Fruits Basket) immediately responded in a manner appropriate to the manga. It was funny, becasue the reason that friend and I met and became such great friends is becasue we were in a role-playing game where her character was based on a character in Fruits Basket. The same character she made herself in her reaction. The parallel wasn’t lost on me, and we laughed.
I realize this probably makes very little sense, but it’s very funny.
