I’ve decided to just jump on several bandwagons at once. I’ve decided to give Typepad a try. So far, I like it. I’ve decided to throw myself on the public’s mercy, although I really don’t expect much of a public at this point and that’s fine with me. As you can see from the title and subtitle of this blog, I’ve pretty much decided to keep this blog for myself. Naturally, there won’t be anything really juicy. That gets put in the hardcover journal, far away from hackers’ eyes. (And it’s a beautiful journal. One of those Flavia ones! I highly, highly recommend it. It’s colorful. It has inspirational images and quotes throughout it. And best of all, it’s not on show for the universe!)
My initial intention is to make it a blend of how I would keep a private journal and how I keep my LiveJournal. I want this place to feel like me, without feeling stifled. Expect a mixture of personal entries, favorite song lyrics, favorite links and images, writings, personal notes on various topics. Who knows what I might put in here by the time I finished!
Feel free to follow any of my links. The majority of them should be work-safe. I can’t make the same promise for my writings since I’ll likely move some of my writings from other writing spaces over here. My photo album are going to be more of a portfolio variety to showcase various skills I’m proud of. I’m even leaving my contact information public, although I’m not afraid to block you if you start harrassing me. Not that I’m that mean…in fact, my current crush is a gentleman I met online. He’s also over 2.000 miles away. I’m very sad about that because he’s so much fun!
I think that’s about it for now. I’m going to see if I can figure out the TypeList feature.
